What is the NCFS Food Truck Park?
The NCFS Food Truck Park is an initiative by Nixyáawii Community Financial Services (NCFS) to provide a dedicated space for food entrepreneurs to operate their businesses within the Umatilla Indian Reservation community.
Where is the Food Truck Park located?
The Food Truck Park is situated adjacent to the NCFS office at 46440 Kusi Rd. #A-3, Pendleton, OR 97801.
Who is eligible to operate a food truck at the park or lease the Food Trailer?
The park is open to the Pendleton community and Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) Tribal Members, including Descendants, Reservation residents, and Tribal Entity employees and their immediate family members.
Trailer Leasing
Is the new quality trailer available for lease?
NCFS has acquired a new, fully equipped food trailer available for lease to aspiring food entrepreneurs on a first-come, first-served basis.
How can I lease the food trailer?
Interested individuals should contact NCFS directly to inquire about availability, use agreement terms, and the application process. Apply Here
Is there any financial assistance available for leasing?
NCFS offers various lending services and business development support. Prospective lessees are encouraged to discuss financing options with NCFS representatives. There are currently limited number of reimbursable grants that can your business operation can qualify for if you meet the criteria for approval. Schedule an appointment Here
Operational Details
What are the operating hours of the Food Truck Park?
Operating hours will be determined based on community needs and vendor availability. Specific hours will be communicated to approved vendors. We suspect we will have core hours that FTP tenants must be open but will allow for variance outside of those core hours.
Are there any health and safety regulations vendors must follow?
Yes, all vendors must comply with health and safety regulations as outlined by the CTUIR Environmental Health Safety Office. We are working on an application process that will hopefully streamline the process for all involved. Apply to become a Vendor Here
Is there support for obtaining necessary permits and licenses?
