Financial

We want to support our Tribal youth with a meaningful financial literacy program – one that not only aims to educate youth about money, but to implement behavioral change that leads towards positive action with money.

We will help Tribal youth understand how to appropriately manage the “18 money” from their Tribal minor trust funds, and to learn through lessons that will turn their knowledge into action.

We are building a mobile app to support these goals and make learning and decision making about money interactive and fun for our Tribal youth!

We plan to have the mobile app ready for use by the CTUIR community youth in early 2025, and we are partnering with Cayuse Native Solutions on this important project.  This project was made possible with the work of community member Summer Wildbill during her summer internship with NCFS, along with grant funding from the Tribes’ Board of Trustees and The Ford Family Foundation.

The quiz below offers a peek into the content of the mobile app.
